Marlon Jupiter
Race Against Time to Save 12-Year-Old Marlon’s Life
Twelve-year-old Marlon Jupiter should be worrying about school, friends, and what he wants to be when he grows up, not fighting for his life. But today, Marlon is facing something no child should ever have to face.
He has been diagnosed with T-Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, an aggressive and life-threatening blood cancer. His doctors has advised that his best chance of survival is an urgent bone marrow transplant. However, the heartbreaking reality is that this life-saving treatment is not yet available in Guyana, where Marlon and his family live.
His only option is to travel overseas for treatment, but the cost of international cancer care, including medical, travel, housing during treatment, and months of recovery, is far beyond what his family can afford. Without receiving this treatment abroad, he will not survive.
But there is hope…
We are working urgently with doctors in Brazil to secure treatment and to coordinate his medical transfer, which would give him access to this life-saving treatment. But we cannot do it alone; we need your help.
No child should die simply because life-saving treatment isn’t available where they were born. Your donation today will help give Marlon a fighting chance. And every dollar received will help move him one step closer to treatment.
Right now, Marlon’s mother is praying that someone, somewhere, will hear her son’s story and help save his life. That someone could be you!
Please donate and share Marlon’s story and help give this brave young boy the chance to grow up, chase his dreams, and live the life every child deserves.
Your kindness could help save Marlon’s life.
