In Memory of Oswald Subratie

Oswald Subratie of Bartica, Guyana, was infected with malaria and recently underwent treatment, subsequently, he suffered a life threatening infection and developed multiple fistulas, which caused his body to deteriorate rapidly. He has since lost 2/3 of his body weight and is at risk of dying unless he receives urgent medical treatment. 

SHEA Charity has accepted Oswald's case and we are seeking your assistance to help save his life. Treatment will be done in Guyana; however, the medication needed to stabilize him in order to undergo surgery is not currently available within the public hospital system or Guyana in general. This medication is extremely difficult to access and very expensive, but with your help we can provide it to Oswald. Please donate today. Every dollar counts and every dollar will give him a chance at survival. Time is of the essence, please don't let him die.  Oswald is a loving father, son, and according to his sisters, the best brother anyone could wish for. 

**Update: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Oswald Subratie. Though we tried relentlessly to assist the doctors in saving his life, his tired body gave up during surgery.
